Sydney Sweeney and restaurateur boyfriend Jonathan Davino are on their way down the aisle! According to a report by People, the duo is officially engaged. The news comes after Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard in the hit HBO series Euphoria, was spotted in Los Angeles on Monday wearing an eye-catching diamond bauble on her left ring finger.

Given the private nature of Sweeney and Davino’s relationship, this news may come as a shock to some—but the pair has actually together since 2018, when they were first spotted together during an InStyle and Kate Spade dinner in California. Since then, Sweeney and Davino have been photographed on quite a few occasions, including during a trip to Hawaii in late 2020; while enjoying their vacation, they were particularly cozy with one another on the beach.

In the past, the White Lotus actress has been vocal about keeping her love life private, which tracks on social media: Most of her personal pages are dedicated to her work, as opposed to her personal world. When she starred on Cosmopolitan’s cover in January, she spoke about her decision to keep her relationships to herself. “I don’t date people in the spotlight,” she told the outlet. “I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest. I have a great support system.”

When she was asked about what she looks for in a partner, Sweeney told Cosmopolitan, “I look for a best friend. I need to be able to be with someone who I can literally hang out with 24/7 and never get sick of and we laugh every single day.” It certainly seems as though she has found that in Davino.
