The saying “art imitates life” is especially true when it comes to Jennifer Lopez’s latest manicure. The nail art pays homage to her fiancé Ben Affleck, as Tom Bachik, a celebrity manicurist, shared a photo of the singer and actress’ look on Instagram. The nail art featured a gold cross design with “B” for Affleck and “J” for Lopez on her ring finger. Plus, there was a gold heart on Lopez’s middle finger.

“If you know… then you know 🏹 Jen and Ben forever #couplesgoals for the boss @jlo #nailsbytombachik,” Bachik captioned the shot of Lopez’s manicure on his social media account. Lopez’s nail art fittingly matches her green gemstone engagement ring, which Affleck popped the question with back in April.

Lopez’s engagement ring features a center green gem along with two diamonds. The multi-hyphenate shared that Affleck’s proposal itself was incredibly romantic and happened while she took a bubble bath, one of her favorite self-care rituals. “I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years, this was happening all over again. I was quite literally speechless and he said, is that a yes?’ I said YES of course that’s a YES,” she recalled in her newsletter.

Their engagement took place during “a quiet Saturday night at home,” and Lopez feels that she and her groom-to-be are “two very lucky people” who “got a second chance at true love.” Her diamond sparkler has sentimental meaning, too. “Green has always been my lucky color and now, for sure, it always will be,” she added.
