From her best friend Snoop Dogg to the Kardashian family, Martha has quite the inner circle of A-list pals. Our founder’s latest rendezvous with Hollywood’s elite included a red carpet appearance with Cher and Kim Kardashian during the CFDA Fashion Awards.
Martha opened up about spending time with the singer and entrepreneur on Instagram. In a post, Martha included three side-by-side polaroids of her star-studded entourage. “One photographer at the @cfda was using a fifty year old polaroid camera to capture our ’looks,’” Martha wrote. “I love this trio.”
Shortly following their red carpet session, Martha presented the inaugural innovation award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America to Kim for her lauded shape wear line, Skims.
But Cher and Kim weren’t the only celebrities Martha was spotted with during the high-profile event. She also spent some time with Drake, who was seated at our founder’s table alongside mother-daughter duo, Laurie Lynn Stark and singer Jesse Jo Stark.
This isn’t the only time Martha and Drake have been photographed together. The lifestyle mogul and rapper chatted during the 2021 NFL Owners’ Dinner the night before Super Bowl LVI. Martha said they became fast friends.
For the event, our founder donned a flowing, deep brown dress with a plunging neckline that she layered over a black top. To accessorize the look, the multi-hyphenate opted for gold platform sandals, shimmering drop earrings, and a gold chain link necklace. She completed her ensemble with a brown clutch with an oversized cross-shaped clasp.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Martha outing without someone asking her about Pete Davidson. Although the Internet has been holding out hope that our founder and the comedian will date, Martha said the two haven’t gone out quite yet. “Well, one day, you’ll know when we have our date,” she told Entertainment Tonight during the event.
